One of ArtsFund greatest strengths has always been the caliber and engagement of members of its Board of Trustees. We are governed by a board of more than 50 business and civic leaders and an advisory council of 14. ArtsFund’s annual campaign is advanced by a 130-member cadre of fundraising volunteers known as Associates. The Allocations Committee reviews applications and interviews representatives of all applying arts groups, recommending grants to the ArtsFund Board.

We place utmost importance on the integrity of our allocations process, and our experienced panels are comprised of some of the most respected and knowledgeable individuals in the arts and philanthropy of our region. We are grateful to them and to their companies for the time and expertise donated, and we are thrilled with the outcome and the investment it allows us to make in the community.
The 2013 King County Allocations Committee was led by Co-Chairs Mark Dederer, Vice President/Community Affairs, Wells Fargo Foundation and Jim McDonald, Senior Program Officer, Arts and Culture, The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation.
