Security

Is Your Credit Card Information Secure?

We care about the safety and security of your transaction. We use high grade encryption and the https security protocol to communicate with your browser software. This method is the industry standard security protocol, which makes it extremely difficult for anyone else to intercept the credit card information you send to us. Contributions may also be made by calling us at 206-281-9050 or delivered directly to our offices located at the above address.
Privacy

Our Policy

ArtsFund uses its best efforts to respect the privacy of its online visitors. At our site, we do not collect personally-identifiable information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. This means we do not require you to register or provide information to us in order to view our site. ArtsFund only gathers personally-identifiable data, such as names, addresses, zip/postal codes, e-mail addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by a visitor. For example, personally-identifiable information may be collected in order to respond to a stated desire to volunteer time at ArtsFund or to make a donation online. This information is used solely by ArtsFund or other entities that are involved in the operation of this site for internal purposes. ArtsFund lists are never sold to third parties. We will only share personally-identifiable information with third parties when the person submitting the information authorizes us to share it or we are required to by law.

How Do We Use "Cookies"?

Visitors should be aware that non-personal information and data may be automatically collected on the Web Site through the use of "cookies." "Cookies" are small text files a Web Site can use to recognize repeat visitors, facilitate the visitor's ongoing access to and use of the site, and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements. Cookies are not programs that come onto a visitor's system and damage files. Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the visitor that has no meaning outside the assigning site. If a visitor does not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows the visitor to deny or accept the cookie feature. CCA uses "cookie" technology only to obtain non-personal information from its online visitors in order to improve visitors' online experience and facilitate their visit within our site.

Liability and Warranty

Under no circumstances are we or anyone who helped us create, produce, deliver, or maintain the web site liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages or attorneys' fees arising from your access to or use of the web site, including, but not limited to, challenges or actions for infringement, libel, and slander whether such damages are based on contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise.

Your use of this web site is at your risk. Everything on the web site is provided to you "as is," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, title, or infringement.

Because some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Corporate Council for the Arts harmless from all liabilities, claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, that arise from any breach of these terms of service for which you are responsible, or from the use of this Web Site or the transmission of any content through this Web Site.

Copyright Rules

Everything you see or read on this site is owned by ArtsFund or used with permission. You may not copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, modify, rewrite, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any material contained on the ArtsFund site without our prior permission. You may, however make single copies of materials displayed on the ArtsFund site for your own personal and noncommercial use only, provided all copies include the copyright and other notices displayed with the materials on the ArtsFund site.

Note to Parents on Our Privacy Policy
