Each year ArtsFund distributes annual sustaining and discretionary grants to non-profit arts groups in the Puget Sound area. Recipient organizations span a diverse range of interests--from the traditional to cutting-edge. ArtsFund's grant making process is a model for other united arts funds across the country. A grant from ArtsFund is an important imprimatur for many arts groups in its other fundraising efforts.
Seattle Shakespeare Company
Seattle Shakespeare Company is the Puget Sound region's only year-round professional theatre dedicated to producing the work of Shakespeare. The Company produces an acclaimed annual season of Shakespeare and classical plays and offers a popular year-round series of education and community outreach programs including residencies, workshops, and student matinees.
