Become an ArtsFund Associate!
If you are interested in supporting the arts, networking with fantastic people, acquiring new skills, and attending great arts events, the ArtsFund Associate Program is a perfect fit! Since 1989, this program has engaged more than 1,000 volunteers with behind-the-scenes access to the arts, unique leadership opportunities, and a place to build long-lasting friendships. The following are just a few highlights of the Associates Program:
Access: Learn about Seattle’s cultural life and become an informed arts advocate. As a volunteer you are invited to see shows and hear directly from the artistic and managing directors about their work.
Teamwork: Associates develop strong professional relationships and enduring friendships. Every year, the 150+ Associates form teams that engage in good-natured competition to raise money and increase their involvement through behind-the-scenes arts events and receptions with corporate, arts and community leaders.
Development: People give to people, and ArtsFund provides that training you need to feel confident reaching out to companies and individuals on our behalf. The results are impressive: Associates raise more than $250,000 annually and are one of our leading sources for new corporate and individual gifts.
Leadership: Veteran Associates who demonstrate talent, commitment and interest are invited to serve on the Associates Board. Many take advantage of our Board Leadership Training Program and Board Internship opportunity in their second or third year of the program. ArtsFund Associates raised over $250,000 in Campaign 2011. This major accomplishment is attributed entirely to the talented, energized and dedicated group of volunteers who take part in the program.
Recruitment for Campaign 2012’s volunteers is now closed. For more information about the Associates Program please review the brochure below.
