Please join us for ArtsFund’s 31st Annual Celebration of the Arts Luncheon!

Wednesday, March 20, 12:00 – 1:30 pm
Seattle Westin

This year’s luncheon will explore the positive social impact the arts have on youth, and feature keynote speaker Stanford Thompson. Thompson serves as the Founder and Executive Director of Play On, Philly! and Founding Board Chairman of El Sistema USA, organizations delivering quality music education to thousands of students in underserved areas throughout Philadelphia and across the country. Recently recognized as a TED Fellow, Stanford believes that arts education is a powerful tool for social change and that collective music-making offers important lessons and opportunities in youth and community development.

Mary Pigott will be awarded for her outstanding contributions to our arts and cultural community. Mary has made a significant impact through her leadership, board service and volunteer work, and generous support of numerous nonprofits throughout the region focused on the arts, women’s health, the environment, and youth development.

The luncheon will also feature performances by Village Theatre KIDSTAGE and Maiah Wynne, indie folk musician and 2018 MoPOP Sound Off! finalist/second place winner, as well as a house band led by Nathan Young, musical director at Village Theatre.

Mimi Gan will emcee the event.
