ArtsFund announced today that on May 19, 2021 with the passage of the 2021-2023 biennium state capital budget, the Building for the Arts program was awarded $16 million, a receipt of the full funding requested for 21 capital projects across the state.

The Washington State Department of Commerce is pleased to partner with ArtsFund to administer over $10 million in Nonprofit Community Recovery (NCR) grants.
Grants will be distributed to nonprofits statewide in three focus areas. Washington State Department of Commerce is partnering with ArtsFund to center the grants program on arts, cultural, science, and heritage organizations. Grants will also be awarded to nonprofit neighborhood organizations, and sports and recreation organizations.

ArtsFund announced that Michael Greer has been selected as ArtsFund’s new President and CEO following an extensive national search. Mr. Greer has been Executive Director of Oregon Ballet Theatre since 2017. As a former professional dancer and experienced executive, Greer’s leadership experience spans both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. He will assume his position on June 8, 2020.
