On April 28, 2022, ArtsFund’s friends and supporters were treated to a conversation with the endlessly charismatic artist, Barbara Earl Thomas at the Henry Art Gallery, an ArtsFund grantee. Michael Greer started the evening by making his first in-person appearance as ArtsFund CEO. Afterwards, Henry Director Sylvia Wolf introduced Thomas and curator Nina Bozicnik for a conversation about artistic philosophy, Thomas creative process, and her exhibition, Packaged Black. Thomas then led guests through her show and provided an intimate and humorous context for each of the works in the gallery
